Beat Paincourse at Stonuvan Temple by reading charge tracks, returning minecarts, and using the beam gaps in later phases.

Opening phase: read the tracks

Paincourse announces its charge route with floor markings. Stop attacking long enough to leave that path before it becomes dangerous. When the boss circles the arena, watch the yellow trajectory lines from incoming minecarts. An open cart exposes a yellow interior that can be shot and disabled; a cart left active will explode, so abandon it and create distance if the timing is missed.

Turn the minecart into a stun

After disabling a cart, line it up with Paincourse's route and fire it back into the boss. The collision creates the main weapon-damage opening. A disabled cart can also be kept between the player and an incoming charge, but using it for the stun provides the clearest burst opportunity when the angle is safe.

Defensive interval and Drill Attack

Paincourse becomes invulnerable between damage cycles. Clear the supporting Salmonids, collect Power Eggs, and trigger the Drill Attack when the gauge is ready. Avoid spending the entire interval attacking the boss's shield. The smaller arena can become crowded quickly, so controlling enemies is part of creating the next damage window.

Later phase: move inside the beam gaps

The later cycle adds beams from the yellow side portals. Stay close enough to see the gaps between beams and move with them if Paincourse changes angle. Once the pattern ends, return to the minecart and Power Egg loop rather than chasing damage through the active beam field.
