Quick answer

Open the Gear menu on the Hideout Ship, enter Style, and choose Outfit. Outfits change the Mechanic's appearance; the currently recorded outfits do not list combat bonuses. Amiibo scanning also starts from Style after the first three raids.

Can you customize your character in Splatoon Raiders?

Yes. Nintendo confirms that you can customize the Mechanic's look. The currently documented appearance system centers on outfits selected from the Style menu.

How do you change outfits in Splatoon Raiders?

Open the Gear menu on the Hideout Ship, enter Style, and choose Outfit. Newly unlocked outfits are added to that wardrobe.

Do outfits provide combat bonuses?

The 39 currently indexed outfits are recorded as cosmetic and do not list combat bonuses. Weapons, Tanks, Gadgets, Parts, and Powers handle combat loadout changes.
